It has grown to become one of the Philadelphia areas most respected builder/developers and enjoys an established reputation for reliability and craftsmanship. In addition to multi-million dollar commercial construction projects, we have been selected as construction managers and advisors to the region’s most renowned corporations, schools, and institutions. Over the years Rufo Companies has acquired a vast portfolio of residential properties needing rehabilitation, Rufo Development has had continued success in the development of brick row homes, triplex’s, quads and six-unit building up to a 53 unit building;restored and sold. There has been a recent concentration in the Hawthorne/Bella Vista area spanning between 11th and Broad Street, South to Carpenter.  We have been involved with downtown revitalization efforts for over 25 years and have carefully performed hundreds of multi-family dwelling rehabilitations from design phase to construction completion. We currently are engaged in the rehab of some larger projects (151 units) along with single family home renovation.

The ideals that began over 40 years ago became the mechanism that placed Rufo Contracting into the new millennium. The fundamental characteristics of commitment, enthusiasm and dedication remain the cornerstones of our business.
